A Reddit user recently shared an adorable video of her one-year-old child obsessing over twenty one pilots’ latest music video for “Chlorine.” However, the heartwarming sight doesn’t stop there; The child’s mom actually made her son his own Ned doll, which he apparently sleeps with every night.

First, the Redditor shared a video of her son pointing at the screen whenever the duo’s strange new friend appeared on the screen.

“My 1 year old loves Twenty One Pilots, and has been especially excited about Ned,” Reddit user FlurryBaseUnknown says.

After receiving positive reception from other members of the Clique, the Redditor shared another video of her son getting a Ned of his own.

“Since my 1-year-old was so excited about Ned, I decided I’d make him one and surprise him. This is me surprising him with it, and his reaction,” she says. “He was so excited about it (which made me happy) and he sleeps with it every night and carries it around the house with him, and has to have it with him when he listens to “Chlorine.””

Additionally, the Reddit user has posted other videos of her son dancing to other twenty one pilots songs, such as “My Blood.”

In other Ned-related news, Tyler Joseph explained what the creature means to the band. In a video chat available on Russian social media service VK, and transcribed here on Reddit, Joseph explains how Ned’s birth actually helped form the basis of Trench.

“Ned really does represent a lot of things but specifically, I guess you would say it really represents this idea of creativity and trying to take care of it and trying to please it… or appease it,” Joseph says. “It’s kinda that thing in you that tells you whether or not something is good and when you get to the stage we’re at you realize listening to that becomes more and more important because a lot of people start talking and trying to influence you and the decisions you can make creatively. And so… yeah, Ned saved us. We made the record we made because of Ned.”

Last month, twenty one pilots first introduced Ned when they surprise dropped the music video for “Chlorine.” You can check out the music video below.
