Neil Patrick Harris actually got Count Olaf's tattoo to celebrate 'A Series Of Unfortunate Events'

Netflix's adaption of A Series Of Unfortunate Events has been renewed for a second season.

To celebrate, actor Neil Patrick Harris, who plays Count Olaf, got the villain's infamous eye tattoo on his ankle.

On March 13, Netflix cleverly announced the show's renewal with a video on YouTube. Patrick Warburton, aka Lemony Snicket, narrates the video, which eventually leads to www.VastlyFrighteningDecision.com. There, a note confirms the second season.

In fact, this is Harris' first tattoo.

Season 1 of Netflix’s series adapted the first four novels over the course of eight episodes and premiered Friday, Jan. 13, 2017.

There is still no word on when the second season will make its debut.

A Series Of Unfortunate Events was taken to the big screen in 2004 by Paramount Pictures with a film starring Jim Carrey. The book series began in 1999 and continued through to 2006. Lemony Snicket is the pen name of Daniel Handler.
