This Netflix email scam is targeting millions of subscribers

If you’ve received this email from Netflix, you best be wary: A recent, well-designed email scam has targeted millions of subscribers, and, according to Deadline, could result in stolen personal and credit card information.

The email subject line says “Your suspension notification,” and it targeted nearly 110 million subscribers, warning them that the service is about to be canceled because they’re “unable to validate your billing information for the next billing cycle.” It then takes you to a fake Netflix page that asks for your login info and credit card number.

Plus, Deadline explains that the fake site includes Netflix’s logo and popular series ads for the likes of The Crown and House of Cards, in an effort to make it seem more legitimate.
