Toho recently dropped a TV spot containing a few seconds of footage that differs from the original trailer for Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters. It also includes some reactions from Japanese fans who were able to see the TV spot in theaters.

It's easy to see from the excitement on their faces that fans of Godzilla are really going to enjoy this new anime.

Godzilla: Plant of the Monsters is the first release from Toho in it's animated trilogy, which is set to be distributed worldwide by Netflix sometime next year.

The sequel to the film, Godzilla Kessen Kido Zoshoku Toshi, is set in a dark future where the last remaining humans must fight Godzilla, who has been causing havoc on earth for 20,000 years. Fans of Godzilla will be thrilled to see an appearance of Godzilla's coolest rival Mecha Godzilla in this film

For those wanting even more Godzilla, the Western version will be premiering the sequel Godzilla: King of Monsters in March of 2019 while Toho's Shin Godzilla is currently available on DVD.
