Starting in New York on June 24 and continuing in Los Angeles on July 1, the documentary will hit theaters nationwide this summer.

Breaking A Monster begins when the members of Unlocking The Truth, vocalist/guitarist Malcolm Brickhouse, bassist Alec Atkins and drummer Jarad Dawkins, were in just 7th grade and chronicles their leap from weekend street performers to professional musicians, mirrored by their rapid transformation from childhood to adulthood. Also an interesting behind the scenes look at the music industry, the documentary has been immensely successful at festivals such as SXSW and Hot Docs.

Unlocking The Truth's debut album, Chaos, drops June 17.
