Star Wars fans, it's time to get excited: Disney has revealed their plans for a new Star Wars trilogy and TV series.

As reported by The Guardian, the newest trilogy in the saga will feature “completely new characters” from “a corner of the galaxy that Star Wars lore has never before explored.” The new films are set to be developed by writer and director Rian Johnson.

Plus, a new, live-action Star Wars television series is set to air on Disney's streaming service by the end of 2019.

Of course, it's not as though Star Wars are slowing down in the least bit. Star Wars: The Last Jedi will be in theaters Dec. 15, with the Han Solo original tale, Solo: A Star Wars Story, set to be released May 25, 2018.

Not to mention, last week Lucasfilm announced that it has at least ten more years of Star Wars films planned.
