New teaser trailer for Stephenie Meyer's 'The Host'

Today, E! News posted an exclusive teaser trailer of The Host, the sci-fi thriller based on the novel by Stephenie Meyer, author of the Twilight series.

The movie stars Saoirse Ronan as Melanie Stryder, a young woman who's body and mind are taken over by some aliens looking to conquer Earth. Melanie runs away to the desert with her love interest,  Jared Howe (played by Max Irons, son of Jeremy Irons), in hopes of finding humans who can help her with her invasion-of-the-body-snatcher problem.

The Host opens next Friday nationwide.
