Nickelback announce Las Vegas residency

In one of the, er, more surprising things we’ve seen today, Nickelback have announced that they’ll be heading to Vegas for a five-show residency next year…

They shared the news today, saying Monster Truck will be joining them for the “epic five show run” at The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. We’re curious to see how successful said run will be, with shows Feb. 23, Feb. 24, Feb. 27, March 2 and March 3.

If you’re interested, tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. PST. We just hope no Stone Sour fans show up to chant “fuck Nickelback” at this performance. (Not likely, still a bit humorous.) Or maybe we'll see an appearance from Avril Lavigne, which would be even better.

The band released their new album, Feed The Machine, June 16.
