Nickelodeon is remaking 'Blue's Clues'

If you were a child in the late '90s to early 2000s, you probably have fond memories of turning on Nickelodeon and watching Blues Clues.

Well, it looks like Blue will be back on TV, with a casting call open as they search for a new host for the series.

“With Blue’s Clues, Nickelodeon launched what became TV’s first generation of interactivity for preschoolers and set the bar for quality, curriculum-driven shows we have made since,” Cyma Zarghami, President of Nickelodeon Group, said, as ComicBook.com reports. “The new, modern version of Blue’s Clues will capture all the original’s creativity and visual identity for a whole new audience ready for its fun adventures and expertly designed problem-solving curriculum.”

The entertainment source explains that the show is currently working on bringing the adorable pup back to TV, with 20 episodes set to feature a “refreshed, but still signature” look with a new host.

And if you think you'd want to be the show's new host, then you're in luck. Auditions will be held on Saturday, April 14, in Burbank, CA. (You can check out additional audition info here!)

Blue's Clues launched in September 1996, and it ran for six seasons.

We're just excited to see a host (even if it isn't Steve!) back in the big red chair and solving mysteries with his best friend, Blue.
