Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic has the best response after Spotify accidentally posted that Nirvana had an upcoming concert in August.

One fan noted the news on Twitter when he was alerted of the false concert.

The post read “upcoming concerts near you by artists you love.”

Novoselic saw the post and had the most hilarious response.

I could make this show, but will take some work to pull it off. Otherwise, I do have gigs in August —— Check out giantsinthetrees.com for time and place,” he wrote.

We wish there was somehow an upcoming Nirvana gig, but this truly was a hilarious mistake.

More Nirvana news

Nirvana fans are being blessed as the beloved live album Live and Loud will be released for the first time on vinyl and on streaming services.

The album was recorded in December 1993 at one of the band’s gigs in Seattle at Pier 48.

It was recorded one month after the band’s iconic MTV Unplugged performance.

The record was previously released on DVD and CD in September 2013 to honor the 20th anniversary of Nirvana’s final studio album In Utero. In total, it features 17 tracks such as “Pennyroyal Tea,” “All Apologies,” “Drain You” and more. The lineup at the time was Kurt Cobain, Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear.

Watch a version of “Heart-Shaped Box” from the Live and Loud DVD below.

The vinyl is available for preorder here and will be on streaming sites soon.
