Nirvana upload ‘Live And Loud’ performance videos for the first time

Nirvana performed a show in Seattle in 1993 that later was featured on their widely-popular Live And Loud release. 

Now, fans can view the original footage from the show on the band’s YouTube channel for the first time ever.

The iconic performance took place on December 13 at Pier 48 in the city. The band, comprised of Kurt Cobain, Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear, were touring In Utero at the time. 

MTV broadcasted the show that was released on DVD in 2013. However, now that the band put it on YouTube, fans can stream it for free for the first time ever. 

The band uploaded the videos each song from the record individually, with the only one missing being the band’s cover of David Bowie’s “The Man Who Sold The World”. Some standout tracks include “All Apologies,” “Come As You Are,” “Heart-Shaped Box,” “Drain You” and more.

Last month, Kanye West featured a Nirvana song at his Sunday Service session, which features a gospel choir and is usually attended by famous people.

At the service in particular, the choir and Kanye put their spin on Nirvana’s “Come As You Are” and “Smells Like Teen Spirit”. 

The rendition gave a totally different vibe to the track, with the version even cleaning up some of the lyrics to make them more church-friendly. You can listen to it below.
