Norma Jean show off ramshackle setting of forthcoming video

Norma Jean have been working on their forthcoming record for some time now, but it looks like we’re getting new material soon.

The band posted a photo to their Instagram confirming they’re filming a video for a new track this weekend.

Frontman Cory Brandan says the new material is entirely new territory for the band.

(Polar Similar) was definitely a record where we felt like we ended a trilogy,” Brandan said. “In the sense that Meridional, Wrongdoers and ending with Polar Similar. So now where I think we are was, how do we just switch it up and just really go for something totally off the wall, without losing our self?”

“With the new record, it’s definitely kind of a… We started with a lot of ‘I don’t knows’ and by the time we finished it we were blown away on our own … I’ve never heard Norma Jeanlike this,” he continued. “It’s new territory for sure, but I’m pretty pumped on it.”

This will also be the first album since longtime guitarist Jeff Hickey has been let go from the group.

Hickey has been with the band since 2011, but the two parties will be separating to allow him to focus on his battle with alcohol addiction.

They posted a photo asking fans to follow along with their Instagram story all weekend as they post clips while they film a new video.

One fan asked when there will be a release date and the band also confirmed that will be coming soon.

From the clips shared so far, it looks like their new video will take place at a rundown house with plenty of filth and grime laying around.
