Northlane to release first single with new singer next month

Last month, Aussie prog-metalers Northlane announced the departure of their singer, Adrian Fitipaldes. After a careful search, the band have located a new frontman and will record their first new single next week. We still don’t know the identity of the new frontman, though.

The band are teaming up with engineer Will Putney (For Today, The Acacia Strain) to record the song “Rot,” which will be released November 21, along with an accompanying music video, introducing the new singer. Check out a message from the band below, and let us know your thoughts.

“We just confirmed that next Thursday we will be flying out our main man Will Putney to Sydney so that he can record our first single with our new vocalist. The track will be titled 'Rot' and we will be shooting a music video for it the following week. We think it's one of the heaviest Northlane tracks ever. We are looking to introduce our new member via the single and video on November 21. In the mean time, keep an eye out on all our socials as we will be sharing photos and video from our recording and writing sessions.”
