NTSB issues warning for #InMyFeelings dance challenge

From the Harlem Shake to the Mannequin Challenge, viral video dance trends always seem to pop up randomlyand have people dancing in the most random places.

The most recent craze has been the #InMyFeelings challenge, where Drake’s Scorpion track “In My Feelings” has been the center of attention.

While that’s all well and good, the place where the challenge has been taking place is not. The viral craze has fans jumping out of moving cars to dance along in the middle of the street.

We don’t really have to point out how dumb it is to dance in the middle of a busy street, but people just aren’t getting it. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) even had to issue a warning advising people against participating in the challenge.

“Motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death in the U.S. Hopping out of a moving vehicle or jumping into lanes of traffic to show your dance moves is foolish and dangerous — to you and those around you,” Nicholas Worrell, chief of safety advocacy at the NTSB, said in a statement.

“There’s a time and place for everything, but our nation’s highways and roadways are no place for the #inmyfeelings challenge.”
