1. Oceans Ate Alaska have announced their highly anticipated second album Hikari.

Oceans Ate Alaska’s new album is due out July 28 and will feature a blend of Japanese instruments.

“We have a huge amount of respect for Japanese culture, especially their music,” says drummer Chris Turner. “These unique and beautiful instruments have inspired us to create something brand new, and we are beyond proud of the end result!”

2. Dallas-based The News Can Wait have announced their signing to Third String Records and their self-titled EP—along with their new single “Slime.”

The alt-punks’ new EP will be released July 7. Plus, you can catch the band on tour this July with Naturalist in support of the release.

6. Dropkick Murphys have released a new music video for “Until The Next Time.” Check it out below!

The song is taken from their new album 11 Short Stories Of Pain & Glory. In July, they'll be touring the United States with Rancid on the From Boston To Berkeley Tour.

7. Muse announce they'll be streaming their concert in Austin, TX live on Facebook

During the concert, Muse will allow Facebook viewers to vote on three songs they will perform within their set. We already know that we'll be voting for their new single, “Dig Down.” The concert will be streamed here on June 10 at 9:10 p.m. CST.
