At a recent live show, Of Mice & Men's vocalist/bassist Aaron Pauley joined Five Finger Death Punch on stage, and it's seriously epic.

The band recently announced their new album, Defy, set to be released January 19. Plus, Of Mice & Men recently invited us into the studio for a sneak peek at the record.

“The whole energy of the record is very centered around our live shows and just connecting with our music,” bassist Aaron Pauley, who has taken over vocal duties in Carlile’s absence, tells AP

“I always think that's valuable; when we've made records in the past sometimes, it's been after extended breaks, so it's hard to remember that live connection. We had so much of that over the summer that it bled into the music we made.”
