Of Mice & Men plan to continue evolving on next album, says drummer

In a recent interview with UnderTheGun, Of Mice & Men drummer Valentino Arteaga touched on the group's next chapter as a band, saying, “On the next record we are definitely going to continue and do some things that sound like Restoring Force, but we are also going to change some stuff up and do some things differently. Near the beginning of the month, Of Mice & Men canceled the remaining dates of their headlining tour with Crown The Empire and Volumes due to frontman Austin Carlile's hospitalization. Last week, he updated fans on his condition, saying, “Thanks for being there for me. Waking up over and over in the middle of the night, or the nurses helping me pee, reading the tweets help.” He also revealed that he would be transferred to Stanford University to be under the supervision of specialists. Finally, this past Thursday, he underwent his “big and final” surgery and was released yesterday.
