Of Mice & Men's Austin Carlile updates fans after final surgery
Yesterday afternoon, Of Mice & Men frontman Austin Carlile underwent what was his “big and final” surgery. He tweeted before and after the procedure, updating fans on his condition. It looks like he also received some direction towards a Higher Power from Korn's Reginald “Fieldy” Arvizu. Read what Austin had to say below and be sure to leave him some good vibes in the comments.
Near the beginning of the month, Of Mice & Men canceled the remaining dates of their headlining tour with Crown The Empire and Volumes due to the singer's hospitalization.
Last week, he updated fans on his condition, saying, “Thanks for being there for me. Waking up over and over in the middle of the night, or the nurses helping me pee, reading the tweets help.” He also revealed that he would be transferred to Stanford University in order to be under the supervision of specialists.
My big & final surgery of this whole ordeal is today here in the Stanford Hospital @ 1:30 pm. I'll be under for about 5 hours, here we go!
