The trailer begins with leading actress and newcomer Sadie Stanley explaining how she started saving the world:

“So a few years ago, I accidentally received a distress call. I was done with my homework, so I answered it. Now I save the world.”

With just enough familiar nods, the trailer speaks to our nostalgic hearts. You can watch the official trailer below.

In a story with Variety, it was revealed that a few members of the original Kim Possible cast will appear in the remake. The man who voiced Professor Dementor, Patton Oswalt, will reprise his role in the live-action film. Additionally, Kim Possible’s voice actor Christy Carlson Romano will make a cameo.

While the remake has been met with its share of criticism, many proud fans have taken to the internet to share their thoughts on the remake, including Riverdale actor Cole Sprouse.

“Lot of adults in this post directing hate towards a couple kids simply because their cartoon doesn’t look the same anymore.” Sprouse says. “You guys need to grow the hell up and realize you’re talking about kids who are likely happy to have gotten the job. Kids who, in some way, might hear you.”

Regardless, we can’t be more excited to relive one of our favorite childhood TV shows.

The movie will appear on Disney Channel in March 2019.
