1. Julius Cowdrey drops two singles


Julius Cowdrey shared two new singles, “Better Day” and “If This Is Love Then I Must Hate You.”  Both tracks were inspired by heartbreak and the process of healing after a relationship ends. “I never expected it to happen, but I got cheated on,” Cowdrey says. “I lived trusting her every action, and without my knowing, I became a victim to huge disloyalty.” Both tracks are available to stream here.

2. Cisco Adler announces album, releases music video

Cisco Adler shared the release date for his upcoming album, Hippieland. Additionally, a new music video was released for “Somethin’ More.” The song features backup vocals from Mike Posner and Cody Simpson, and it’s the first single off the forthcoming LP. Hippieland will be available June 14 and is available to preorder via iTunes.

3. Petrol Girls share new single

Petrol Girls dropped a new single, “Big Mouth,” with an accompanying music video. The track will be featured on the band’s upcoming full-length, Cut & Stitch, which is available for preorder here. The album is due out May 24, and they’re hitting the road for a U.K./EU tour with War On Women in June. Dates are below, and tickets can be found here.

4. Spanish Love Songs debut new single

Spanish Love Songs released a new single, completing their two-track EP, Losers. “‘(No) Reason To Believe’ is about watching people in my life struggle emotionally, financially, etc. without ever finding a way to talk about it, let alone a solution,” lead vocalist/guitarist Dylan Slocum says. “It’s very much a companion song to ‘Losers’ and draws the same conclusion that things likely aren’t going to get easier for us, and that’s kind of a bummer.” The album is available here. 5. The Dirty Nil share new cover

The Dirty Nil released the first installment of their new cover tracks, You’re Welcome I. The series will feature covers of Culture Abuse’s “So Busted” and the Jesus And Mary Chain’s “Head On.” New covers will be released throughout the summer. 6. Gavin Haley unveils new track

Gavin Haley dropped a feel-good love song, “96.” The track is his first release this year after a string of releases in 2018. The song addresses a personal goal to discover lasting love, and it’s available for purchase here.

7. Oliver Tree releases remixed version of “Hurt”

Oliver Tree shared an RAC remix of “Hurt.” The original track will be featured on Tree’s upcoming album, Ugly Is Beautiful, to be released later this year. The LP follows Tree’s EP, Alien Boy, which is available for download and streaming here.
