Sharon Osbourne spoke to Variety in 2019 in regards to a rumor floating around Hollywood of a script focusing on Ozzy’s life.

‘What a load of crap,’” Osbourne said. “It didn’t make sense. It didn’t have a heart, it just wasn’t me.”

Next, she proceeded to comment about how she was making her own film about her childhood, career and early days with the rockstar that would end with their marriage.

“I don’t want to do another rock and roll, sex, drugs and money movie about a musician,” Sharon said. “That’s not what I’m doing. There hasn’t been a movie about a woman that actually works on the management side — that’s a true story — and somebody that succeeds through the struggle and you come out the other side.”

“It’s everything before we get married, Sharon continues. “It’s the madness of my childhood, growing up in the industry with a powerful father who was somewhat violent.”

Fast forward to January of 2020 and Sharon Osbourne said on her talk show The Talk, that one of her goals for 2020 was to produce a movie on her husband.

That brings us to the here and now where Jack Osbourne appeared on Jamey Jasta of Hatebreed‘s podcast The Jasta Show and said that he’s sure things are still moving forward.

“There is absolutely things in motion right now to make [the Ozzy and Sharon film] a reality,” Jack said. “I think in the next few months, you’ll probably see something coming up about it. But we haven’t landed [a studio] yet. So, fingers crossed.”

When asked about who would Jack Osbourne like to see portray him in the film, he briefly touches on the film’s contents and says he would only be a child.

“I think the time period I would do it in, I would be a child in it. So I wouldn’t be so heavily featured,” Osbourne noted. “It’s going to be more about my mom and dad making their way through the world. I would be in the background just being annoying.”
