Ozzy Osbourne announces final tour’s rescheduled dates with Judas Priest

Back in 2019, Ozzy Osbourne was forced to postpone his No More Tours 2 European and U.K. run with Judas Priest due to his ongoing health issues.

Now, the Prince of Darkness has announced that the tour is rescheduled for 2022.

Earlier last year, Osbourne delayed his farewell No More Tours 2 following injuries he received from falling in his Los Angeles home while battling pneumonia. That fall “aggravated years-old injuries” from an ATV accident that occurred in 2003. Soon after, he was forced to cancel his U.K. and European dates as his recovery took longer than anticipated.

Then, earlier this month, Sharon Osbourne finally offered an update on Ozzy’s upcoming tour plans. She told Planet Rock Radio that the U.K. and European dates have been booked for 2022.

“Ozzy’s tour has been rebooked,” Sharon said. “The British tour, he’ll be back in 2022. You know, we just carry on as normal. We’ve been doing loads of TV shows here and you’ve got to just keep going until Ozzy can go back live.”

Now, the dates for Ozzy’s No More Tours 2 U.K. and European run are finally here. The tour kicks off on Jan. 26, 2022 in Berlin and concludes on Mar. 13 in Glasgow. Judas Priest are still supporting the tour. However, they will not be opening the show in Budapest on Feb. 2.

Those who already have tickets should hold onto them as they will be valid for the rescheduled dates. For those wishing to receive refunds, you’ll need to contact your point of purchase.

“I really want to thank my fans for their loyalty and for waiting for me,” Ozzy says. “Believe me, I can’t wait to see you all again. please stay safe in these uncertain times. God Bless you All! Love Ozzy.”

For those waiting to hear news about Ozzy’s rescheduled North American tour, there isn’t an update yet. Ozzy canceled the tour dates back in February as he continued to receive health treatments. Marilyn Manson was set to open up the tour.

In the meantime, Ozzy is working on his next solo album. He previously told Radio.com that a follow up to Ordinary Man is in the works. He is working with Andrew Watt again to produce the record.

“I’m doing another record right now,” he said. “I just started to work with Andrew again. It’s what gets me up in the morning, and it’s what I’m here to do. It saved my life, doing that last album. [It’s better than] sitting on my ass all day waiting for the fucking pandemic to be over. And then you go, ‘Oh, yeah, I am a rock and roller. I’d better do an album.’ You’ve got all the fucking time in the world to make the best album possible.”
