The North American dates were set to see Marilyn Manson opening after being rescheduled back in November.

Ozzy cancelling the tour is a decision being made to accommodate fans who have already had to adjust their plans numerous times already.

The Prince Of Darkness is still going ahead with promotional obligations for his upcoming record Ordinary Man which arrives this Friday, Feb. 21. After that, he’ll be heading to Europe for additional treatments.

“I’m so thankful that everyone has been patient because I’ve had a shit year,” Osbourne says in a statement. “Unfortunately, I won’t be able to get to Switzerland for treatment until April and the treatment takes six-eight weeks.

“I don’t want to start a tour and then cancel shows at the last minute, as it’s just not fair to the fans. I’d rather they get a refund now and when I do the North American tour down the road, everyone who bought a ticket for these shows will be the first ones in line to purchase tickets at that time.”

Refunds will be available for everyone with tickets at the point of purchase. Additionally, ticket holders will have first access to newly announced tickets whenever the next tour is announced.

The tracklist for his new album has also come out and reveals there will be another collaborative track with Post Malone. You can check out the full tracklist here.

We’re wishing the best for Ozzy as he continues his road to recovery.
