Osbourne canceled his 2020 tour in order to go to Switzerland to treat his Parkinson’s Disease. With much of the world shutdown, Ozzy Osbourne had to scrap the trip. However, according to his daughter, Kelly, he is responding very well to stem cell treatment.
Back in January, Ozzy revealed that he had been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease but was “a lot better now than [he] was last February.”
The next month, Ozzy Osbourne canceled his North American tour in order to receive specialized treatment for the disease in Europe.
“I’m so thankful that everyone has been patient because I’ve had a shit year,” Osbourne says in a statement. “Unfortunately, I won’t be able to get to Switzerland for treatment until April and the treatment takes six-eight weeks.”
“I don’t want to start a tour and then cancel shows at the last minute, as it’s just not fair to the fans. I’d rather they get a refund now and when I do the North American tour down the road, everyone who bought a ticket for these shows will be the first ones in line to purchase tickets at that time.”
“We had to cancel our trip to Switzerland, Osbourne revealed. “We were meant to go on April 8 but we had to cancel, for his treatment. We’re just hanging in like everybody else – just trying to stay away and be quiet and just hold in there. I honestly find this such frightening times. I just think it’s a really, really frightening time to be alive.”

As reported by Music News, Osbourne’s daughter Kelly recently spoke about how well her father was responding to stem cell treatment.
“Seeing after one treatment of stem cell what has happened and the progress that he’s made is mind blowing,” Kelly Osbourne says. “He wants to get up and he wants to do things. He wants to be part of the world again. He’s walking better. He’s talking better. His symptoms are lessening. He is building the muscle strength back that he needs after his spine surgery.”
Kellys adds in that the coronavirus quarantine is particularly hard for Ozzy Osbourne.
“He’s ready to get out of the house and now he can’t get out of the house. He keeps saying to me, ‘I’ve been on quarantine for almost two years, and now I’m feeling better and the world is on quarantine.’ ”
