Ozzy Osbourne teases new song set to release tomorrow

Ozzy Osbourne has been in the headlines quite frequently as of late. From health concerns to a Halloween costume contest, The Prince of Darkness keeps us engaged without releasing music.

That officially changes tomorrow. Ozzy announced on Twitter today that a new song is set to be released tomorrow.

The 13-second tweet shows a hand (probably Ozzy’s) with many different rings. The most prominent ring is a cross with “OZZY” in the middle. The video starts with acoustic pickings and then Ozzy’s iconic vocals fade in. The video ends with “tomorrow” in red font. Check it out below.

With the announcement that Ozzy’s new album releases Jan. 2020, we expected a least a track or two to drop before then. The new album will be Ozzy’s first solo album in 10 years and we cannot wait.

Given the recent status of his health, Ozzy fans have been itching for any news surrounding the status of the legend.

As a recent guest on SiriusXM’s Jess Cagle Show, Sharon Osbourne offers an update on the status of her husband’s health and music career.

“He’s getting there,” she began. “He’s just finished an album, the album’s coming out [in] January.”

She also spoke on his collab with rapper Post Malone and how its success has given Ozzy a much-needed morale boost after having a rough year.

“It’s doing great, it’s on Top 40 radio and it’s climbing every week,” she added. “It’s been a huge boost for him because he felt literally worthless.”

She elaborates on how his health affected his mental state saying he was “near to tears” watching anything about touring or bands on TV because of his tour cancellations this year.

“He goes, ‘I miss my life, I want my life back.’ It’s been really hard on him. But he’s getting there. He’ll be back,” she says.

Luckily, fans still waiting to see his final run of shows will get that opportunity to. “He’s not totally retiring, but the touring — he won’t do anymore touring,” Sharon says.

In an interview with The Sun earlier this fall where the Ozzy talked about his health status, he also mentioned the new album.

“I’ve made a new album and it’s helped get me back on track. I was just lying in my own self-pity for months. It’s the greatest album I’ve done,” he said. “If it wasn’t for making this record I would still be on traction, thinking, ‘I’m going to be lying here forever’. I’ve missed music so badly. My fans are so loyal and so good. Up until making the album I thought I was dying. But that got me off my arse.”

Are you excited about Ozzy’s new album? We can’t wait for the new track tomorrow.
