Painted Flowers jewelry and apparel hosts rising stars for launch party

Last night, the music community came together to celebrate the launch of Painted Flowers, a Los Angeles/Tokyo-based art-driven jewelry and apparel company that focuses on creating hand-crafted designs and curated lifestyle pieces. The brand was conceived by the Madden brothers and designer Tadaaki Wakamatsu.

To celebrate the launch, an event was held at VERSE, a music-inspired restaurant in Los Angeles. Designed by owner and legendary mixer Manny Marroquin for a world-class audio and fine dining experience, the restaurant boasts a modern menu designed by Chef Oscar. The event was co-sponsored by MDDN, Alternative Press and Avaline, an organic wine company founded by Katherine Power and actor Cameron Diaz.

In attendance were some of Alternative music’s finest talents, including personal favorites Chase Atlantic and Maggie Lindemann, who have recently released an infectious collaboration together for the singleOHMAMI.” Also in attendance were members of Pale Waves, Bad Suns, Good Charlotte, DE’WAYNE, grandson, Halo Boy and music producer Zakk Cervini, as well as the Madden brothers along with their family and friends.

Guests were served a unique tasting menu from VERSE, which included Pepian croquettes, yellowtail nigiri, marinated steak with Peruvian beans, paired with Avaline red wine. They finished the meal off with a decadent dessert of homemade beignets.

Joel Madden, who was there with his wife, fashion designer and creative director Nicole Richie, said of the night “After so long staying in, having an intimate dinner at one of my favorite LA restaurants to celebrate this unique brand with friends and artists I admire was a very nice way for us to introduce this brand and a great excuse to safely get together and enjoy hanging out again with family and friends.”

The night was a perfect way to celebrate the launch of such an exciting new brand that not only is making truly remarkable pieces but is also bringing together diverse artistic communities in a unique and inspiring way.
