Palaye Royale reflect on milestone ‘Boom Boom’ eras show count

Palaye Royale begin The Funeral tour today, and posted a sentimental statement online about what the tour means to them.

The tour will be the final run for the band’s Boom Boom Room era, which they’ve been touring for three and a half years straight.

The Funeral begins today. Putting an era to bed over the course of the next few shows is bittersweet. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for bringing this band to life over the past 3.5 years of straight touring. Clocking in nearly 600 shows on two albums Thank you!” the post reads.

The tour comes after the band  teased a handful of U.S. states. They are only making 8 stops on the final tour, and you can check out the dates below.

The band’s guitarist Sebastian Danzig was reportedly arrested yesterday after throwing his coffee on someone who allegedly attempted to hit a dog with their car. However, the Palaye Royale guitarist is now facing a charge of assault with a deadly weapon.

“@sebastiandanzig just got arrested outside the venue,” the band say in an Instagram post. “Let’s see if he makes it to tomorrow sold out show!”

The band then go on to describe the circumstances of Danzig’s arrest.

“A guy in a car tried to hit Mishka (adorable little dog) with his car. Sebastian threw his coffee at him,” the band continue in the post. “Later he was charged with assault with a deadly weapon. Great job policeman, keeping the world safe!”
