Brendon Urie is no stranger to tackling covers, between Dua Lipa to Queen, the singer has covered a whole slew of artists, and we’re beyond thrilled about the band he tackled next: Blondie.

Posted by Pandora, the band decided to take on Blondie’s 1978 classic “Heart Of Glass,” and while they were at it, Panic! shared just how to cover came to be. In an interview with Urie, where the singer recalled the first time he heard Blondie’s hit:

“It came on the radio and I was like, ‘Whoa, I’ve never heard anything like this before,'” Urie shared. “Just in the recording alone, the way that they produced the track, there were no rules, they said, ‘Yeah, whatever works, man. Let’s just get this idea out and see what happens, if it works it works, if not whatever.’ And that’s kind of what I’m all about now.”
