Brendon Urie finally shares metal Panic! At The Disco song
Brendon Urie has made good on his promise to launch a metal version of Panic! At The Disco, the musician who loves good beer sharing a souped-up variant of “The Calendar” that assuredly puts summer on its deathbed.
It comes by way of the frontman’s own Twitch stream, whereby the singer aired the previously-hinted-at song during an apparent Fortnite session. And it looks like the metal-style take on the classic Vices & Virtues deep cut really kicks!

“We did this in 2010,” Urie announces mid-stream, a clip of which can be seen below. (The Panic! singer even shows off some slam-dancing moves while giving fans a taste of his act’s unexpectedly brutal side.) Can you imagine an album of this?
“I want to do a metal project in particular,” Urie earlier revealed to Rock Sound. “I actually just played something for my bandmates recently. We have an old song called ‘The Calendar’ and I made a metal version of it from years back.”
Panic! just dropped their new album Pray For The Wicked this past summer. It spawned hits such as “Say Amen (Saturday Night)” and “High Hopes,” the latter of which has become the band’s biggest single since “I Write Sins Not Tragedies.”
