According to BuzzFeed, the trend started with 17-year-old Jade Taylor-Ryan and her cat Ed.
Her 12-second video is set to the 1954 song “Mr. Sandman” and features nine wonderful frames of Ed clapping, twirling and peering into her phone’s camera.

The video quickly went viral across multiple social media platforms with people adding their own takes to the video.
Now, it looks like Panic! At The Disco are jumping on board with their own “Mr. Sandman” nine-frame video featuring the one and only Beebo.
The post is appropriately captioned with, “What dreams (or nightmares) are made of.”
