Having gone from employee at the Disco! to CEO, Brendon Urie created the wildly successful album Death Of A Bachelor, hit the ground touring (which included a stint opening for one of his all-time favorite bands, Weezer) and made the transition to Broadway, appearing in the production of Kinky Boots.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Urie talked about the future of Panic!, teasing a Broadway-esque production for the band’s next round of touring.

“We’ve always wanted to create that production show, just mimicking Cirque du Soleil and Broadway shows,” says Urie, “so I think that’s going to continue and only get better now that I’ve had some hands-on experience with it. I can’t wait for a live show and an album. I think it’s just going to be a lot of fun.”

Following a fan vote, the band won over fellow nominees A Day To Remember, Blink-182, Fall Out Boy, Good Charlotte, Green Day, Machine Gun Kelly, Pierce The Veil, Sum 41 and the Pretty Reckless.
