According to Playbill, Kinky Boots’ capacity has increased above 90 percent, while its gross potential has hovered around there as well as fans catch the lead singer’s Broadway debut.

They also report that the last time the musical made over $1 million in a non-holiday week was back in March.

Urie made his Broadway announcement in early April, and he's been sharing his excitement ever since.

“I’m very excited to announce that I’m joining the cast of Kinky Boots this summer on Broadway. That’s crazy to say because it’s been on my bucket list for the longest time, and it really is a dream come true,” Urie said in the original announcement.

“Plus you guys get to see me in those heels now, so that’s pretty cool. I really hope you guys make it out.”
