Papa Roach reach huge streaming milestone

Congratulations are in order to Papa Roach!

The band, who just released their tenth studio album Who Do You Trust?, hit a huge, plaque-worthy streaming milestone.

Papa Roach’s newly released record already has some pretty impressive numbers. Besides reaching No. 1 on the Tunes Rock Albums chart, it also accumulated 4.1 million album streams in just four days.

Obviously, the band already had nine other albums on their backs prior to that, with 14 top 5 singles and six songs hitting No. 1 on the radio. And we’re mentioning all that to say, yes, it’s obvious their music is streamed a lot as well.

However, the actual number is still pretty impressive: One billion streams. Exactly.

Papa Roach recently received Pandora’s “Billion Streams” plaque in celebration of this incredible achievement. The band were awarded the plaque on the last night of their three-night run at the Roxy in Los Angeles. Pretty incredible, huh?

“We’re thrilled to be Pandora billionaires – it means so much that our fans support us through the years and that Pandora gives them the opportunity to stream how they want,” the band said about the achievement. “Thanks to the fans and thanks to Pandora – big thumbs up from Papa Roach!”
