New theories have emerged that Paramore could be planning to release new music soon.
This week, eagle-eyed fans noticed some subtle changes to Paramore’s social media platforms. Now, fans are convinced these changes have to do with new Paramore music.
It’s been a hot minute since we last heard new music from Paramore. In 2017, they released their full-length LP After Laughter. The album is one of their most popular to date and features the hits “Hard Times,” “Fake Happy” and “Told You So.” The 2017 album also marked the return of drummer Zac Farro.
Since After Laughter’s debut, fans haven’t heard new material from Paramore. However, the band members have cranked out some new tunes through other own projects.
Hayley Williams has also had a widely successful year with her debut solo LP Petals For Armor. The album was created alongside Taylor York, who produced the record, and Paramore’s touring musician Joey Howard. As well, Farro also collaborated on the project and even directed the video for “Dead Horse.”
Now, fans are convinced that Paramore may have some new music on the way. This week, Paramore updated their Spotify and social media platforms with a new photo. Although nothing has been confirmed, the subtle change could be a hint that the band are gearing up to release new music.

While promoting Petals For Armor, Williams talked to Zane Lowe about Paramore’s future. She revealed that the band decided to take a much-needed break after the After Laughter tour wrapped. During the time off, they eventually went on to work on their individual projects.
Then, back in May, Williams revealed that she is always thinking about new Paramore music. Williams also said that Paramore are already talking about potential producers for the next album.
“We’ve talked about who might be a cool producer because both Taylor and Zac produce now,” she said. “And we’ve talked about what styles of music we might want to fuck with. It’s funny, though, because we always do this and then we get in the car and take a complete left turn. It makes me excited because we literally just follow our whims and who knows where we’ll go? I think that’s what kept Paramore going all this time.”
Paramore haven’t confirmed any new music yet, but fans are still convinced the band’s subtle changes on social media are a hint to upcoming plans.
