Patrick Stump sweats it out in Martin Garrix collab video

Fall Out Boy frontman Patrick Stump makes a hot appearance along with rapper Macklemore in Martin Garrix’s new, sweat-ridden music video, “Summer Days.”

The video follows a cryptic teaser in April and the song’s official release a few days later.

In this recent collaboration with Garrix, Stump provided lead vocals for the song while Macklemore rapped in the verses. In the music video, Stump makes an appearance halfway through as a taxi driver sopping wet with sweat.

Stump isn’t the only one getting soaked in Fall Out Boy. Bassist Pete Wentz recently made a guest appearance in Nickelodeon’s longest-running game show, Double Dare, to support the 2019 Kids’ Choice Awards. Wentz and other Kids’ Choice Awards nominees participated in the game show, and they competed with each other in trivia and took part in messy stunts and excessive slime-throwing.

Members of Fall Out Boy have been keeping themselves busy since M A N I A. The band also recently collaborated with rappers ILoveMakonnen and the late Lil Peep for the track “I’ve Been Waiting.” The song is also accompanied by an ethereal music video that features the band celebrating Lil Peep’s legacy.

Guitarist Joe Trohman and drummer Andy Hurley have also kept themselves busy with the Damned Things. Nine years since the band’s debut in 2010, the supergroup finally released their long-awaited sophomore album April 29 with a hilarious music video for their first single, “Cells.”

You can catch Patrick Stump with Fall Out Boy at a handful of festivals this summer. Bunbury Music Festival is up first next weekend in Cincinnati, Ohio followed by Summer Sonic in Tokyo and Osaka in August. More information is available here.
