The guitarist took to Twitter to share the news of the robbery, where he mentioned that his insurance to help cover some of the loss has a $1000 deductible.

He also dropped a link where fans can purchase records to help him pay the costs of his insurance fee.

“Good morning! My house was robbed last night and my insurance has a $1000 deductible. Would love if you’d consider buying some records from me to help us recover our stuff,” he said in a tweet.

The band also shared his tweet, where they said that he was robbed while they were in the studio.

If you would like to help de Brauw cover some of his insurance cost, you can do so by purchasing some record here.

Pelican released their last full-length album Forever Becoming back in 2013. Since the album’s release, the band has dropped a couple of live albums and an EP.

While they haven’t released anything in recent years (the last full release of any kind was in 2016,) that doesn’t mean they haven’t been hard at work.

As previously noted, the band is currently in the studio working on their new record. On Oct. 2, the band posted the first day of the studio with the caption: “So we’re gonna make a record now. Okay?”

Then, they shared another live shot of their studio adventures, titling the photo “Day 2.”

And finally, they posted day three’s photo.

We’re beyond excited for Pelican’s new album, and again, if you would like to help de Brauw cover some of his insurance cost, you can do so by purchasing some record here.
