Periphery play Chicago show with New Kid On The Block in attendance

It looks like Periphery played a show to a New Kid On The Block last night!

Reportedly, none other than actor/musician Donnie Wahlberg was in attendance for Periphery's House Of Blues gig in Chicago on Sunday. Wahlberg, of course, is best known as a member of O.G. boy band New Kids On The Block, brother to actor Mark Wahlberg and current husband of Jenny McCarthy.

According to Metal Injection, Donnie's people even contacted Periphery. Apparently, Wahlberg's son Elijah is a big fan of the band's progressive metal.

This seems a lot like Forest Whitaker watching Bring Me The Horizon!
