Could Pete Davidson's new ink be Machine Gun Kelly-inspired?

Pete Davidson and Machine Gun Kelly’s bromance is no secret. I mean, MGK gave Davidson a REAL tattoo while filming Big Time Adolescence and if that’s not some major trust between friends I don’t know what is. Now it looks like Pete’s latest ink may have another connection to the Cleveland rapper.

That’s true friendship right there.

Over the weekend, Davidson was spotted at a hockey game with his new love interest, Kate Beckinsale.

His new relationship wasn’t the only thing Davidson was showing off during the game, with fans noticing the brand-new double ‘X’ tattoo on his neck.

You can check it out in the photos below:

Davidson’s newest ink is a pair of intersecting X’s just below his double black heart tattoos—which happen to be cover-ups for his previous Ariana Grande ink.

This time however, it appears his new tattoo may not be inspired by his current relationship status, but instead by one of his close friends.

For some, a double-X represents the phrase “Where there is a will, there is a way,” but it is possible that Davidson’s intersecting X ink could have a tie to rapper and friend MGK.

Machine Gun Kelly has been known to use the phrase “EST 19XX.” The EST means “everyone stand together” with the “19XX” meant to represent any age of his fan base.

MGK and a lot of his crew also have double-X tattoos.

The rapper did a video with iHeart in 2017 explaining some of his tattoos. In the video you can see the double-X that he too has on his neck.

Could Davidson’s new neck ink share the same meaning as MGK and his crew?

It looks like it could definitely be possible…
