Pete Wentz announces Ultra Q as latest DCD2 Records signing

Shortly after rebranding their band, Ultra Q have officially signed with Pete Wentz‘ record label DCD2 Records.

The band are being welcomed to the record label for their new EP, We’re Starting to Get Along.

The band, Wentz and the record label all made their announcements of the signing today.

“very excited and grateful for spencer and pete over the past few months. theyve shown us tons of love/support and we are so lucky to have them in our corner,” Ultra Q wrote on Instagram.

The band have been working closely with Wentz as well as former Panic! At The Disco member Spencer Smith who took on an official role with the label last year.

The band broke their silence back in April after the rebranding with their new track “Redwood.”

Frontman Jakob Danger said of the change that the band’s personal growth led to an interest in switching directions.

“Our own musical interests have changed since we first started playing music,” Danger says. “We were so young when we started Mt. Eddy. We were like 17, so I think we want to do something that’s really challenging for us.”
