Pete Wentz announces short film as part of Fall Out Boy’s "Bloom" project

After all the speculation, Pete Wentz finally revealed the details of Fall Out Boy's secret “Bloom” project, via Snapchat of all places. The group has created a live show, merchandise and short film, all visually designed as a way to inspire and uplift.

The project came together at the end of the band’s Wintour tour, and it’s meant to be a complete visual experience.

“We wanted to do something that was kind of compelling and experiential where there was stuff to wear and stuff to look at and stuff to experience but most importantly I wanted to tell a narrative that sometimes the hard shit you go through makes you stronger and carves you into somebody stronger.”

Wentz continues by reminding fans of the inspiration that Fall Out Boy not only hopes to provide to fans, but how extremely grateful they are for their continued support. “You guys inspire us and so we wanted to do something that was inspiring and uplifting and hopefully resonates.

“The hard shit that you go through doesn't have to break you. It can carve you and you can create something beautiful from that.”
