Picturesque drop cover of “11 Minutes” by Halsey, YUNGBLUD

Picturesque have dropped a cover of “11 Minutes” by Halsey and YUNGBLUD featuring Travis Barker and we definitely didn’t expect it.

The band says that after sharing the same stage as YUNGBLUD on Warped Tour and hearing the new track, they were inspired to do their own version.

We were stoked when we heard this song come out a couple weeks ago.  Its such a banger and has so many cool rock elements that it excited us to be able to put our own little twist on it,” the band said in a statement.

Picturesque shared the guitar-driven version on Twitter.

Halsey and YUNGBLUD also recently shared the story of how they met and the song came to be. Basically, it was from a bond over rock music.

Apparently, Halsey had admired YUNGBLUD for awhile and asked him to get a beer in Los Angeles. The two got pretty drunk and talked about the music they grew up with and YUNGBLUD’s idea for the song.

“I ended up jumping in the studio the next day,” Halsey said.

She added that she texted Barker to be on the song and he was free and did it almost immediately.

“It was like within 36 hours it went from this idea we were talking about to this fully incubated thing,” she said. “We were all in the studio together and it just happened. It was organic and it was the product of us having a conversation about the music we grew up on.”
