Pixies announce new bassist, premiere music video for "Another Toe In The Ocean"
Pixies have once again announced a new bassist, and this time her name isn't Kim.
Following the departure of founding member Kim Deal, then recent firing of brief replacement Kim Shattuck, Paz Lenchantin has been tapped to tour with the group. Formerly a member of A Perfect Circle and Zwan, Lenchantin has also contributed to releases from Queens Of The Stone Age, Melissa Auf Der Maur, and Jenny Lewis, among others.
Additionally, Pixies have released a new Liviu Boar-directed animated music video for “Another Toe In The Ocean,” from their latest EP, EP1. This marks the band's fourth video in support of EP1, and sixth overall this year. Check out “Another Toe In The Ocean,” and catch up on the group's other recent videos, below.
