Pizza delivery guy takes 90 minutes to deliver pizza, stabs customer

A simple pizza order left a male customer with lacerations to his neck, hands and wrists after he received his pizza roughly 90 minutes late.

Once the pizza finally arrived, he began arguing with the Domino’s delivery driver over the late delivery time. According to a report from NBC Los Angeles, police said the driver then stabbed the customer. While the injuries weren’t life-threatening, they were considered serious. After receiving initial care at his home, he was transported to a nearby trauma center.

The Domino’s employee was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon. In response, Domino’s released the following statement:

“Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We haven’t heard anything about of this. All the stores in California are owned by independent franchisees and because we have no information, we can’t provide comment other than to say we are shocked by the allegation and hope the customer is OK.”
