Much like the sandwiches, all-new Popeyes Ugly Christmas Sweaters sold out nearly immediately. The delightful orange and white-striped bundle of warmth is all gone. We’re only talking about the sweater right now because Popeyes hasn’t sold out of the sandwich yet.

Given the insanity surrounding the sandwich, it makes sense that the craze would carry over into all Popeyes chicken sandwich related merchandise areas. What’s next, chicken sandwich slippers? Those would probably sell out immediately too.

This sweater looks so good, you might be on the dinner table on Christmas Day. The Popeyes sweater retailed for $44.95, nearly 11-times the cost of a sandwich. At that price, we’d take the sandwiches.

“Popeyes® Louisiana Kitchen serves up an “Ugly Christmas Sweater” sure to be the ultimate ice breaker for any holiday party.” The description reads. “With the Popeyes® Chicken Sandwich becoming a household favorite and pop culture phenomenon this year, the team at UglyChristmasSweater.com partnered with the beloved Cajun brand to create a holiday festive look sure to make mouths water.”

Also, just last week, they announced their partnership with Migos and Uber Eats for an exclusive, limited-time menu. The Migos Menu runs from Dec. 6 through Jan. 2. and includes four different options. The options highlight each of the trio’s favorite items from Popeyes. The fourth option is the “Tour Rider” and includes a bundle of tasty things.

Popeyes is really out there killing the game right now. They might be the underdog story of the year. With their newfound success, Popeyes even got in on the expensive banana art fiasco.
