Post Malone delivers feature-packed third LP ‘Hollywood‘s Bleeding’
It’s been just over a year since Post Malone unleashed his Grammy-nominated sophomore album Beerbongs & Bentleys on the world. With multiple hits in “rockstar” (feat. 21 Savage), “Psycho” (feat. Ty Dolla $ign) and “Better Now,” saying follow up Hollywood’s Bleeding is highly anticipated is an understatement.
With time passing between full album releases, that doesn’t mean Malone actually took time off. Between a busy touring schedule, filming for his first movie, another Crocs collab and announcing a cannabis company, the rapper continued to put out new music.

In October, he teamed up with Swae Lee for “Sunflower” ahead of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse for the animated superhero flick’s soundtrack (where it wasn’t originally intended to land).
In November, just seven months after Beerbongs & Bentleys, Posty took to Twitter to share some pretty exciting news. The rapper updated fans with the news that he was working on a project set to be released before the end of 2018. “Trying to put out a new body of work before the end of the year but we all know how that goes wish me luck k,” he tweeted.
While a whole new album wasn’t dropped within the remaining months of 2018, Malone did drop a new track “Wow.” The rapper shared the track Dec. 24, and Fall Out Boy fans were quick to notice the scene staples got a shoutout in the lyrics.

Malone kicked off the year with the first official broadcast performance on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest where he played through “Better Now.” He followed it up with an epic Grammys performance alongside the Red Hot Chili Peppers where he also supported friend and collaborator 21 Savage after an ICE arrest.
Between a diss from Yelawolf and a shoutout from the Jonas Brothers, Posty took the viral bearded sensation that loves “Wow.” and added him into the video.
After rumors of a Young Thug collab, Posty shared the zombie-centric video for “Goodbyes” in July (along with the perfect coffin pool floats inspired by the track). A few weeks later, Malone confirmed the album is done. Shortly after, he played another new track, “Circles” live and confirmed the unnamed album was dropping in September.

Finally revealing the album title and official release date less than two weeks from its drop, Malone followed it up with next single “Circles” and later its medieval-inspired video. With highly anticipated collabs from Halsey, Ozzy Osbourne and more, Hollywood’s Bleeding is finally here. With his two most recent singles, “Sunflower” and “Wow.,” Check out the full stream below.
