Yesterday, Post Malone fans expressed concern for the rapper’s well-being after performance videos from the second leg of his Runaway Tour began making the rounds. In them, Posty was slurring his words, rolling his eyes back and stumbling onstage among other things.
Fans pleaded with the rapper on social media to get help, speculating that Post Malone may have a substance abuse problem and that we need to support him in any way we can. Now, Post Malone has addressed the claims from the stage of his latest tour stop.
Hours after the videos were heavily reshared, Post Malone took to the stage at the FedExForum in Memphis. There, he directly addressed the fan concern and claims he was taking drugs.
“I’m not on drugs, and I feel the best I’ve ever fucking felt in my life,” he says to the crowd. “And that’s why I can bust my ass for these shows and fucking fall on the floor and do all that fun shit. But for anybody that’s concerned here, I appreciate the love and the support, but I feel fucking fantastic and I’m not doing drugs.”

As stated, fans had been sharing messages of support for the rapper Friday alongside videos they deemed not to be “normal behavior,” suggesting it was alcohol or drugs.
You can’t sit there and tell me that this is normal behaviour from Post, it’s not and the man needs help before something bad happens to him. Whether it’s alcohol or drugs, he’s not using them for fun anymore, he’s abusing them. it’s too much now, people are worried. #postmalone pic.twitter.com/RfYZ6xZy5g

post malone has been acting strange and inebriated at his shows. ppl are fearing that this behavior is from drugs and alcohol. even if you don’t like post malone pls don’t cheer this on. he clearly needs help and ignoring it only leads to tragedies. remember amy winehouse. pic.twitter.com/8L428HzVQr

Guys please, Post Malone has been acting "weird" on stage since a few weeks. I’m not trying to assume anything, but he looks like he’s under drugs. So please, SPREAD THIS VIDEO. We lost too many artists over overdoses. I hope he’s gonna be okay. 🥺 pic.twitter.com/NVGfewokn4
