Post Malone aboard plane set to make emergency landing due to blown tires—UPDATED

The Associated Press has reported that the plane has landed. Emergency personnel responded immediately as seen in the live stream.

A new live stream from WJZ-TV CBS Baltimore is airing from Stewart Airport anticipating the landing of the plane. TMZ is also reporting that there are 9 fire trucks, 25 emergency personnel and 12 ambulances on standby.

Twitter account NYCAviation, an aviation enthusiast online community, took a screenshot of the flight path and reported that the plane is holding over Poughkeepsie, NY at under 7,000 feet, which is about 15 miles from the airport.

The live stream below ended, and the news station, KHQ Local News, hosting the stream has reported that the plane will land at Stewart Airport in New York. TMZ also reported the plane is going to hover above the airport to continue burning more fuel.

Post Malone is aboard a plane that is going to have to make an emergency landing after two of the plane’s tires blew out.
The rapper is aboard a private jet that took off from New Jersey’s Teterboro Airport, and blew its tires upon take off. The plane was originally set to go to England, but was rerouted to an airport in Westfield, Massachusetts.

According to air traffic audio obtained by TMZ, the pilot is flying to Massachusetts to burn more fuel for a safer possible crash landing. There are reportedly 16 people on the plane, many of which are part of the rapper’s team.

Post Malone performed the closing song at the MTV Video Music Awards last night with Aerosmith and 21 Savage. After his own “Rockstar,” he jumped on guitar to back Aerosmith on “Dream On” and “Toys In The Attic.” He also won the Song of the Year award for “Rockstar.”
The rapper was also a recipient of a poker chip handed out by Panic! At The Disco’s Brendon Urie during his VMAs performance of “High Hopes” last night.
Post Malone is pretty much a scene kid at heart. When he was 15 years old, he tried out for Crown The Empire, but didn’t make the cut because his guitar string broke during the audition. Once he was in high school, his metalcore band covered Asking Alexandria’s “The Final Episode [Let’s Change Channel].”
He’s covered Rage Against The Machine’s “Killing In The Name” and Green Day’s “Basket Case.” Also, who could forget the time he and Bring Me The Horizon potentially did a collab, or when he had that iconic Twitter exchange between him and Underoath?
