Post Malone is coming off the highly successful release of his sophomore album, Beerbongs & Bentleys, and it doesn’t appear that the rapper will be slowing down anytime soon.

In a recent interview with Billboard, Malone’s manager Dre London shared the news that the 22-year-old rapper is planning to start pursuing ventures outside of rap in the near future. The first? Starting his own record label.

“He's seen the music business inside out and now he wants to start his label,” London told Billboard. “We're going to do it how we been doing it from the beginning, and obviously a distributor is going to come along. Let the bidding begin.”

In addition to starting his own label, Malone is also interested in the film industry. According to London, it appears that he has an idea for a movie, one that may even be in the works, saying:

“Post has a movie idea right now and he and well-known writers are going to get together and write it,” London said. “It's a great movie idea, and I've been begging him to play a role in it because he's good at acting. I think I've just managed to twist his arm enough to play a role – it might come in disguise or something where we find out it's him afterwards.”

We’re pretty interested in seeing what Malone has in store.

As we know, he’s pretty interested in the scene (remember that time he and Bring Me The Horizon potentially did a collab? Or the iconic Twitter exchange between him and Underoath?) So, it would be pretty cool to see him try to integrate some of our scene in his next project.

After all, we all know Post is a scene kid at heart.
