Proof Skrillex and Incubus have been working in the studio together

Earlier in the month, Lisa Worden, music director at KROQ, confirmed that Skrillex is collaborating with Incubus for the band's new album. Well, Incubus guitarist Mike Einziger recently shared a photo of himself, along with Brandon Boyd, Chris Kilmore, and Skrillex, all working on something.

“Nothing cool is happening right now… nothing at all,” Einziger posted.

In Worden’s interview with Radio.com, she said the collab is “fantastic,” making us all the more excited.

“Sonny [Moore, Skrillex] did have a hand in a song,” confirms Worden. “I may or may not have heard something… OK, it’s fricking fantastic!”

Last week, Incubus announced their eighth album, appropriately titled 8, which will be their first LP since 2011's If Not Now, When?

Along with the title reveal, the band also premiered their first single, “Nimble Bastard,” on KROQ, which you can check out here.

Plus, Incubus announced their summer headlining tour with Jimmy Eat World and Judah And The Lion. Tickets for these shows are on sale here, and you can check out a full list of cities and dates below!
