'Punk'd' is getting another reboot with Chance The Rapper as host

If you watched MTV in the early 2000’s, you surely remember Ashton Kutcher’s prank show Punk’d and it looks like the series is getting a reboot with Chance The Rapper as host.

The show is going through its third revival now after a 2012 reboot with Justin Bieber and a 2015 reboot on BET which both only lasted one season.

Chance reflects on his own history with Punk’d in a press statement which you can read below.

Ashton Kutcher originally masterminded the series from 2003 to 2007, pranking everyone from Kim Kardashian to Miley Cyrus.

Then in 2012, Bieber’s version saw a new celebrity guest host each episode. Notable guests include Tyler, The Creator, Bam Margera, Mac Miller and even Ashton Kutcher himself. Kutcher also continued to act as an executive producer at the time.

For the 2015 revival, BET said that it will be “tailored” towards their audience and give viewers a glimpse at what goes into its production aspects. The show was then hosted by King Bach and DeStorm Power.

Further details about the 2020 Punk’d reboot are scarce for now but more will surely be coming in the following months.
